Amazon Prime Video has dropped the teaser of its upcoming web series ‘Akkad Bakkad Rafu Chakkar’ created by late Raj Kaushal and Aman Khan. ‘Akkad Bakkad Rafu Chakkar’ will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on 3rd November, 2021.
The teaser begins with a young man talking about something that has never happened before, he asks to think about one’s dream house and dream world and if he gives enough money to make it all possible! Doesn’t that sound interesting and intriguing.
The video then ventures into offering glimpses of the lives of the seven lead stars of the show who while living a different life for the world, participate in an unlikely heist. It also gives a small peek of the newspaper cut outs pinned on a board mentioning the various financial scams taking place across the country so much so that there are too many to count!
As per Prime Video, ‘Akkad Bakkad Rafu Chakkar’ follows the story of two friends, Bhargav and Siddhant, who think that the “good life” is just one scam away. This thought takes root in their minds after they read countless news stories of bank scams that have happened in the country and that a total of seventy-one thousand five hundred crores has been scammed. Together they devise a plan to open India’s first fake bank. Get people to deposit money and then leave the country with this money. Will they get away or will they get caught?
‘Akkad Bakkad Rafu Chakkar’ is a new series co-created by director and producer Raj Kaushal (husband of Mandira Bedi), who sadly passed away a few months ago, in association with Aman Khan. It stars an ensemble cast including Vicky Arora, Anuj Rampal, Shishir Sharma, Swati Semwal, Shreya Muthukumar, Alisha Chopra and Santosh Singh in pivotal roles.
Mandira Bedi has produced ‘Akkad Bakkad Rafu Chakkar’ that will release on Amazon Prime Video on 3rd November, 2021.
