Prime Video India has debuted a host of new shows this week. Also, a whole slate of movies have begun streaming on the platform after their theatrical run. As expected, the Annu Kapoor headlined new show ‘Crash Course‘ has zoomed to the top of the charts on Prime Video India – both in the overall list, as well as the list for Top Shows on the platform.
New movies to make their presence felt on the Prime Video Top Ten list are Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, Kaduva, JugJugg Jeeyo, D’ Block and Lover. Ron Howard’s stellar Thirteen Lives also debuts on the top ten this week.
‘The Boys’ maintains a place on the Top 10 in India even a month after release. It’s a given, considering the huge popularity of the show in India. Interestingly, HBO Max Original ‘The Sex Lives Of College Girls’ becomes the first of the HBO Max shows acquired by Prime Video for streaming in India to debut on the list of Top Ten shows and movies in India.
The Viral Fever’s ‘Panchayat’ Season 2 is still going strong on the platform, a testament to its universal likeability.A surprising fact is that along with the latest titles, a few older titles are still popular with Prime Video India subscribers. ‘Mirzapur’ and ‘The Family Man’ are still going strong on Prime Video.
