Bugs don’t seem to stop on the Indian OTT. While they are inevitable, the latest issue on Prime Video is kinda interesting. Although we understand that it can be seriously troubling for the audience but the problem is so complex that it is almost funny.
Dejavu is streaming on Prime Video. In case you are unaware, it is originally a Tamil film directed by Arvindh Srinivasan. The film includes Arulnithi, Madhoo, Achyuth Kumar, and Smruthi Venkat in the cast.
The film is available to stream on Prime Video in the original Tamil along with Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam audios. While the Tamil version is a single flawless file, the rest audio have been merged into one file.
And that’s where the mess-ups begin. The interval of the film changes languages. While the Kannada version becomes Malayalam after the intermission, the Malayalam version switches to Telugu after the interval.
This new kind of bug or manual mistake; whatever it is, is definitely new and unheard of. Many users are complaining about the issue as they are not able to watch Dejavu in the language of their choice.
This is something that is being observed for the past two days but Prime Video doesn’t seem to resolve the issue anytime soon. Hope they fix it.
