Amazon Prime Video India has come together with Mumbai Film Festival for one of a kind collaboration called ‘Maitri: Female First Collective’. Created and curated by Smriti Kiran, ‘Maitri: FFC’ is an initiative that celebrates women in the entertainment industry by fostering meaningful conversations and collaboration among them.
‘Maitri: FFC’ will be a special quarterly roundtable series that will convene women achievers from the creative community and will serve as a safe space for women to share their aspirations, learn from each other’s experiences and work towards unblocking challenges within the industry.
At the first such event, Smriti Kiran gets into a conversation with 16 powerful, creative women who dive into their respective pool of experiences to speak about the issues they faced in their journey to becoming an achiever, lessons learnt along the way and their efforts towards keeping the door open for other women.

At ‘Maitri: FFC’, these women talk about topics ranging from issues like when were they first made to realise that they are women, what have they done to protect women, create more opportunities and make the workplace environment more conducive for them and much more.
