Prime Video dropped the trailer for its upcoming Kannada comedy drama, ‘One Cut Two Cut’. The PRK Productions film premieres on Prime Video on 3rd February.
‘One Cut Two Cut’ will be the first release from beloved actor Puneeth Rajkumar’s production house after his untimely death late last year. It stars comedian Danish Sait as Gopi, a simple, naive arts and crafts teacher, with adorably questionable English-speaking skills. Things begin to go wrong on the first day itself of his new job at a school. The school is taken hostage by four misguided social media activists, seeking attention and spice in their obscure, mundane lives.
Going by the trailer, ‘One Cut Two Cut’ seems to be an engaging comedy with hints of drama. As the activists take over the school, and threaten to kill their hostages, it is upto naive Gopi to dream up a plan to get rid of the four terrorisers. Will Gopi’s outrageous plans succeed?
One Cut Two Cut is directed by Vamsidhar Bhogaraju, and produced by Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar and Gurudatha Talwar under the PRK banner. The film also stars Prakash Belawadi, Samyukta Hornad, Vineeth ‘Beep’ Kumar, and Sampath Maitreya in pivotal roles.
Initially meant for theatrical release, One Cut Two Cut has skipped theatres to release directly on Prime Video. The film’s release on Prime Video is the streamer’s attempt to honour the memory and legacy of the beloved actor who departed too soon, leaving his fans in a state of shock.
One Cut Two Cut releases on Prime Video on 3rd February. Have a look at the trailer of the upcoming film –
