There is hardly any platform that comes close to Prime Video India in terms of series. Not only do they make massy and bold series but most of the time, they are really good. Take the case of Poacher.
It is very difficult to attempt a series that has Malayalam, Hindi, English and Bangla dialogues in abundance. Yet, it got great reviews and even the people loved it.
But, it is not so in terms of films. Prime Video is nowhere near its competitor Netflix India when it comes to films.
They have movies like Qala, Bulbbul, Amar Singh Chamkila and many more that are fantastic, to say the least.
Prime Video movies are very very less in number. More importantly, they are simply not good. Things like Maja Ma or Sharmaji Ki Beti are not at all something that people would wanna watch again.
But, finally, there is an update. They are coming up with things like Agni and even more importantly “Malegaon Ka Superhero”. Interestingly, both these films are produced by Excel Entertainment.
So, there are some really interesting movies being developed on Prime Video. But, they certainly need to match Netflix India in terms of quality and quantity.
Agni is set to be released on December 6th on Prime Video. Let’s see how it turns out to be.
