Emmys are a big deal for every streamer. And everyone wants to make the most of it. However, they sometimes lack vision and marketing.
Amazon Prime Video’s “Fallout” is a great series and the makers are seeing a good scope in that. So, the promotion is going spot on.
They are making a significant push for its Emmy-nominated drama “Fallout” with a creative marketing strategy.
Following the success of “Maisel Day,” Amazon MGM Studios is organizing “All Out for Fallout Day” on August 15.
They have partnered with 33 local Los Angeles businesses to offer free or discounted items inspired by the show’s “Vault 33” set. This initiative comes at a crucial time, as “Fallout” has received 17 Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Writing, and Outstanding Lead Actor for Walton Goggins.
We are not really interested in the discounts as they are really irrelevant to us Indians. But, what truly matters is the kind of thing they are doing for the marketing push. It is unique but also demands a lot of capital. Lately, Prime Video has been putting a lot of effort into changing its sloppy image as a slow streamer. Perhaps this could push them into the same league as Netflix and HBO Max.
Let’s see if this fetches them some Emmys.
