Prime Video India has just dropped the first look poster as well as the release date of its new Hindi original film ‘Mast Mein Rehne Ka’. The comedy drama film will premiere on Prime Video worldwide on 8th December, 2023.
‘Masti Mein Rehne Ka’ features the unconventional pairing of veteran actors Jackie Shroff and Neena Gupta, along with Abhishek Chauhan, Monika Panwar, Rakhi Sawant and Faisal Malik in pivotal roles. The movie is a heartwarming slice-of-life story that centres on the universal themes of second chances in love and life, forgiveness, and redemption.
Jackie Shroff plays a lonely old widower Kamath, who lives a boring, routine life devoid of zest or enthusiasm. The police find him unconscious at home, and comment on his lonely lifestyle. In his quest for change, he tries befriending strangers, until he crosses paths with Mrs. Handa (Neena Gupta), a vibrant Punjabi lady. Curious, he follows her around, and her vibrancy soon starts rubbing off on him. As circumstances unfold, their lives converge, driven by fate’s whims, as they strive to rediscover themselves once again.
The heartwarming drama film ‘Mast Mein Rehne Ka’ is written and directed by Vijay Maurya, and produced by Payal Arora and Maurya under their production banner, Made in Maurya.
