Amazon Prime Video has released the teaser for its upcoming Tamil original series ‘The Village’ and its all things ghaslty. Touted to be India’s first show based on a graphic novel, ‘The Village’ is helmed by Milind Rau and will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on 24th November, 2023 in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
‘The Village’ teaser has dark tones and is set in a forest where zombie like creatures attack the humans who despite being armed are terrified to the core. The teaser also gives a glimpse of Arya towards the end as he strikes something with a statue of a god and a woman lying on a stone bed behind him.
A horror thriller series, ‘The Village’ is centered around Gautham, a stranded urbanite and his three unlikely companions who brave an eerie village to rescue his missing family in one night.
Written, directed and produced by Milind Rau, ‘The Village’ stars Arya, Divya Pillai, Aazhiya, Aadukalam Naren, Thalaivasal Vijay, Muthukumar, Kalai Raani, George M, John Kokken, Arjun Chidambaram, Pooja, Jayaprakash, and P.N. Sunny.
Rau has co-written ‘The Village’ with Deepthi Govindarajan and Deeraj Vaidy. Produced by Studio Shakthi Creative, ‘The Village’ will premiere only on Amazon Prime Video on 24th November, 2023 in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi.
