Prime Video’s Christmas Gift Has 15 New Titles For December

Prime Video, throughout the year, has focused on the craft of quality rather than quantity. However, as December approaches, a recent announcement video from Prime Video is causing fans to embrace the festive spirit sooner than the 25th of this month.

Varun Dhawan, hailed as the Prime Bae was featured in the announcement video, providing a tour of his house and showcasing the upcoming shows. The potential of these shows is as promising as the creativity invested in them.

It is often said to strike the iron when it is hot, and with the inclusion of movies such as The Flash and Anderson’s Asteroid City, this announcement is poised to attract a surge of new users to the streaming platform. Furthermore, the holiday and year-end period will undoubtedly work in favor of the platform.

If this isn’t enough to get you excited, here is the new list of shows set to enhance the festive vibes in December.

1. Dhootha (Supernatural Thriller)

   – Journalist Sagar faces dark twists when newspaper clips predict tragedies. Starring Naga Chaitanya, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Prachi Desai, and Priya Bhavani Shankar. Premieres on Prime Video in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada from December 1.

2. Garudan (Crime Thriller)

   – Suresh Gopi plays unwavering police officer Harish Madhav in a high-stakes investigative thriller. Also starring Biju Menon and Abhirami. Produced by Listin Stephen, and directed by Arun Varma, with music by Jakes Bejoy.

3. Mast Mein Rehne Ka (Heartwarming Drama)

   – Directed by Vijay Maurya, this cross-generational tale explores love, forgiveness, and redemption. Featuring Jackie Shroff, Neena Gupta, Abhishek Chauhan, Monika Panwar, Rakhi Sawant, and Faisal Malik.

    – Eddie Murphy and Tracy Ellis Ross star in a festive tale where a man’s deal with an elf brings the 12 Days of Christmas to life. Premieres on Prime Video from December 1.

11. Merry Little Batman (English – Animated Family Comedy)

    – Damian Wayne transforms into “Little Batman” on Christmas Eve to defend Wayne Manor and Gotham City from crooks and supervillains. Directed by Mike Roth.

12. Reacher S2 (English – Mystery Thriller)

    – Alan Ritchson returns as Jack Reacher in a dark mystery involving a brutal murder, missing comrades, and international terrorism. Based on Lee Child’s novel “Bad Luck and Trouble.”

13. My Man is Cupid (Korean – Romantic Drama)

    – A fallen fairy and a woman with a unique romantic history find love. Korean drama premieres with two episodes on Prime Video from December 1.

14. Silver and the Book of Dreams (German – Fantasy Drama)

    – Directed by Helena Hufnagel, the film follows Liv and a group of dream-wanderers seeking to make their biggest dream come true. Premieres on Prime Video from December 15.

15. Death Game Part 1 (Korean – Fantasy-Drama Series)

    – Seo In-guk and Park So-dam lead a fantasy-drama based on a webtoon. Choi Yee-jae faces reincarnation and must prevent imminent deaths. Premieres on Prime Video from December 15.
