Dahaad, you might not know this series because it is yet to arrive in Indian OTT. However, it was announced back then in April last year at Prime Video’s “See Where It Takes You” festival.
It was a part of a long slate from Excel Entertainment. So looks like the series is fully made and is eyeing its India release soon.
Regardless, the series called “Dahaad” stars Sonakshi Sinha, Vijay Verma, Sohum Shah, and Gulshan Devaiah in lead roles.
The series premiered at Berlinale and it is the first Indian web series to do so. Although it is not a big achievement per se it should most certainly be used in the marketing campaign of the series.
Apart from that, Brown, another Indian series premiered at the festival. It has Abhay Deol and Karishma Kapoor in the lead role and is produced by Zee Studios.
There is not much information about the series apart from the fact that Sonakshi Sinha is playing a police officer.
The show is created by Zoya Akhtar and Farhan Akhtar and that’s why it is extremely promising. Zoya Akhtar is known for creating great characters and so is expected from Dahaad.
Thus it is a new feat but everything depends on how the audience takes Dahaad as a show. Stay tuned to Binged for every update from the series as we will keep you posted about new developments.
