Prime Video India has just dropped the official trailer for its upcoming film ‘Dry Day’. The Jitendra Kumar – Shriya Pilgaonkar film premieres on Prime Video worldwide on 22nd December, 2023.
Social comedy drama film ‘Dry Day’ is set in the backdrop of the fictional town of Jagodhar in Madhya Pradesh. The story centres on good-for-nothing loafer Gannu, who is also a raging alcoholic. Frustrated with his alcoholism, Gannu’s wife Nirmala vows to abort their child unless he gives up his drinking habits. Gannu not only decides to quit drinking he also decides to get alcohol banned in his town.
But for that, he will have to first become the town’s corporator, facing off against his politician uncle. Jitendra Kumar plays Gannu in Dry Day, Shriya Pilgaonkar plays his wife Nirmala, while Annu Kapoor plays his powerful uncle.

Dry Day is written and directed by Saurabh Shukla, and produced by Nikkhil Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Monisha Advani, under their production banner, Emmay Entertainment.
