Prime Video India streams live matches and it has been like that for quite some time. The latest match they acquired is England vs New Zealand. It had to start streaming at 6:30 AM.
But, where’s the match?
Not only users but even Team Binged couldn’t find the live match on the Android app of Prime Video.
It is quite a strange act because ideally, they should be flashing the streaming of live matches on one of the top banners. But you can’t even search for them on the app let alone find them on your own.
Another major complaint that users have from Prime Video is the unavailability of highlights of the live matches they stream.
This is a strange and very bad thing for users.
Needless to say, cricket is one of the most important reasons people use any streaming platform. In fact, the tremendous rise of Hotstar in India is credited to the live streaming of cricket matches, particularly IPL.
When users are unable to even find the live matches, let alone watch them comfortably then it is as good as “not streaming” the match.
Again and again, users and Binged have pointed out that the search engine of Prime Video is pathetic, but there doesn’t seem to be any improvement in the same.
