As you all know, the first season of ‘Mumbai Diaries’ revolved around the extraordinary events in the emergency room of Bombay General hospital set amidst the backdrop of the abominable 26th November 2008 Mumbai attacks. It was created and co-directed by Nikhil Advani.
On the other hand, ‘Mumbai Diaries Season-2’ will narrate the story of the staff of Bombay General Hospital and how they are still coping with the aftermath of the terror attacks while dealing with their own personal problems. The new season’s story is ostensibly set against the backdrop of the devastating Mumbai floods, and how the staff must face the extremely difficult situation courageously despite all odds.
The show’s first season cast members including Mohit Raina, Konkona Sen Sharma, and Shreya Dhanwanthary, etc. will reprise their roles in ‘Mumbai Diaries Season-2’ as well. We just hope that the second season will be bigger and better and replicate the streaming success of its predecessor. Let’s see how it turns out to be. Stay tuned to Binged for the latest OTT and film industry updates.
