As fans are eagerly waiting for the release updates on Amazon Prime Video’s upcoming series including ‘Panchayat Season-3’ and ‘Mirzapur Season-3’, the streaming service has just announced the premiere date for its new series. An Amazon original documentary series called ‘Love Storiyaan’ is set to start streaming on Prime Video OTT this Valentine’s Day, that is, from 14th February 2024 onwards.
As the name suggests, ‘Love Storiyaan’ is a collection of love stories and these stories have been inspired by real-life couples from different walks of life. There will be six different stories directed by six filmmakers namely Akshay Indikar, Archana Phadke, Collin D’Cunha, Hardik Mehta, Shazia Iqbal, and Vivek Soni. Earlier, the series was titled ‘India Love Story’. The show would focus on various kinds of love stories and love in its different forms, and it is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment.
Amazon Prime Video’s last series ‘Indian Police Force’ was panned by many critics and OTT viewers despite being a star-studded venture and helmed by blockbuster filmmaker Rohit Shetty. So, all eyes are now on Prime Video’s upcoming projects and whether they will be able to deliver as expected or not.
Besides the forthcoming seasons of ‘Panchayat’ and ‘Mirzapur’, Prime Video’s upcoming Indian shows include ‘The Family Man S3’, ‘Pataal Lok S2’, ‘Farzi S2’, ‘Call Me Bae’, and Raj & DK’s ‘Gulkanda Tales’, amongst others.
