Prime Video dropped the final trailer for its much-talked-about new original series, ‘Wilderness’. The series premieres on Prime Video worldwide on 15th September, 2023, which is next week.
The British thriller series is adapted from the 2017 novel of the same name, written by B.E. Jones. It stars Jenna Coleman and Oliver Jackson-Cohen in primary roles. The story of Wilderness is as wild as its lead protagonist, Liv, played by Jenna Coleman.
On her dream trip with her husband Will (Oliver Jackson-Cohen), Liv accidentally discovers her husband’s dirty secret. From there onwards, her trip becomes increasingly wild, as she lets go of inhibitions, all the while planning to extract sweet revenge on her husband.
‘Wilderness’ is directed by Sundance winner So Yong Ki, and written by Marnie Dickens. Dickens describes the series thus, “Wilderness is pure, unadulterated fun, where our heroine Liv says the things you wish you had the guts to, does the things you can only fantasise about, and lives by her own increasingly outrageous set of rules.”
