Finally!
Months and months of waiting and now we are getting the Malayalam thriller we have all (meaning Malayalam film watchers) been asking for – the Prithviraj starring ‘Kuruthi‘. Well, many of you knew that already. No, this time, we are happy to hear about the much-awaited Amazon Prime announcement trailer regarding the same movie. The film’s main lead, the aforementioned Prithviraj has teased the release date of the trailer on a Twitter post which has a 30-second teaser included. Check this tweet out below:

The actor and the teaser tell us that the release date of the trailer is hidden within the teaser. Now, normally this would be the time when we, the folks at binged.com, will be cross-analyzing everything in this short promo – from the number of knocks on the doors to the various possible imaginary numbers we would see onscreen. However, thanks to Prithviraj, he has made the clue-finding part much easier.
If you read the entire tweet, then you will know that there are 4 eyes shown in the trailer – hence the trailer release date is 4th August 2021. There is another subtle clue in this promotional video, however – there are only 4 shots in this video montage – the first shot of the door, then a close-up, followed by the close up of Roshan Matthews eyes and then Prithviraj’s eyes. So, even if the superstar had not given us the date, we would have eventually reached the August 4th conclusion eventually. But we appreciate the help.
‘Kuruthi’ will premiere two days before the Independence Day weekend, on 11th August 2021 on Amazon Prime Video. Check it out.
