Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran’s celebrates his 41st birthday today. To mark the occasion, producers Hombale Films have revealed Prithviraj Sukumaran’s first look character poster from their hotly awaited film ‘Salaar Part 1 – Ceasefire’. The action film premieres in theatres across the world on 22nd December, 2023.
Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the character of Vardharaja Mannaar in Salaar Part 1 – Ceasefire. The actor will play the antagonist, where he’ll face-off against the lead, played by Telugu star, Prabhas. The first look of Prithviraj Sukumaran as Vardharaja Mannaar is all about pride, authority and kingly royalty. The actor plays the prince of the region, son to the King Raja Mannaar, played by Jagapathi Babu.
The first look poster is dark and grim, much like its central character of Vardharaja Mannaar. Prithviraj Sukumaran is clad in black, with a nose ring, prominent tilak on the forehead, and an enigmatic aura surrounding his being. To put it simply, Prithviraj Sukumaran looks powerful and charismatic in his Salaar character.
Salaar Part 1 — Ceasefire is written and directed by Prashanth Neel, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films. Its music is composed by Ravi Basrur. The movie stars Prabhas as the titular character, along with Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and Ramachandra Raju in pivotal roles.
