Prithviraj Sukumaran’s most recent movie ‘Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil’ will soon be available to watch on OTT. The movie will be premiering on Disney+Hotstar on the 27th of June.
After the roaring success of ‘Aadujeevitam’ this is the first Malayalam film the actor has brought out. His collaborations with Prashanth Neel in ‘Salaar’ and Akshay Kumar in ‘Bade Miyaan Chote Miyaan’ has given him the huge hype all over the country. Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil is written by Deepu Pradeep and directed by filmmaker Vipin Das. It tells the story of a man who has to be forcibly married to a woman who actually hates him. Even before the marriage, the man has to go through a course of bad luck and misfortune. He has to suffer the anger of her wife due to many reasons while his friends try to help him. The movie is a light hearted comedy drama and is well executed in all departments. The performances are good and there is beautiful music from Ankit Menon and Dabzee.
The movie was a huge hit at the box office. Malayalam comedies are wonderful and they leave you with a smile on your face, and Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil is no exception. If you missed your chance of watching the movie in theaters, now is your time. Watch it on Disney+Hotstar from June 27 onwards.
