Desi Girl Priyanka Chopra and Marvel’s new Captain America, Anthony Mackie, are roped in to star in an upcoming Hollywood action project, Ending Things. Kevin Sullivan will serve as the writer and director for the movie. Various reports have claimed that this film may contain a lot of similarities with Arnold Schwarzenegger’s True Lies, dispatched in 1994 with James Cameron at the helm.
Deadline has released the official plot synopsis for the forthcoming action movie. The story will revolve around a female assassin who finds herself on the verge of breaking her loving relationship with his boyfriend. However, she decides to leave the assassin job for good to protect her bond with her lover. But she is left with no other alternative but to shake hands with her business partner for one last job as an assassin.
Mackie is already working on MCU’s new Captain America project. The fans witnessed his transition from Falcon into the new bearer of Steve Rogers’ shield in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series on Disney+. However, his movies didn’t impress the viewers very much last year. On the other hand, the leading lady won the hearts of her fans with her outstanding performance in Netflix’s The White Tiger. Additionally, she played Sati in Keanu Reeves’ The Matrix Resurrections.
Furthermore, Priyanka Chopra is also busy filming The Russo Brothers’ Citadel series, scheduled to premiere on Amazon Prime Video. Plus, her upcoming film, Text For You, is in the post-production stage with James C. Strouse at the helm.
