Prime Video has dropped a new clip from ‘Citadel’, its upcoming highly anticipated global action-spy thriller. The first season of ‘Citadel’ consists of six episodes with two episodes premiering April 28, 2023 on Prime Video, and one episode rolling out weekly through May 26, 2023.
In the clip, Mason Kane (Richard Madden) tires to remind Nadia Sinh (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) about who she really is. He tells her how they used to work as spies for an organisation called ‘Citadel’ but their memories were wiped eight years ago. Feeling endangered Nadia tries to escape it all but gets shocked when Mason uses her biometrics to open a case with confidential information about her.
‘Citadel’ is an independent global spy agency tasked to uphold the safety and security of all people which was destroyed eight years ago by operatives of Manticore, a powerful syndicate manipulating the world from the shadows. With Citadel’s fall, elite agents Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh had their memories wiped as they narrowly escaped with their lives.
They’ve remained hidden ever since, building new lives under new identities, unaware of their pasts. Until one night, when Mason is tracked down by his former Citadel colleague, Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci), who desperately needs his help to prevent Manticore from establishing a new world order.
Mason seeks out his former partner, Nadia, (that’s what he does in this latest released clip) and the two spies embark on a mission that takes them around the world in an effort to stop Manticore, all while contending with a relationship built on secrets, lies, and a dangerous-yet-undying love.
In addition to Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Richard Madden and Stanley Tucci, ‘Citadel’ also stars Lesley Manville as Dahlia Archer, Osy Ikhile as Carter Spence, Ashleigh Cummings as Abby Conroy, Roland Møller as Anders Silje and Davik Silje and Caoilinn Springall as Hendrix Conroy among others.
‘Citadel’ is produced by Amazon Studios and the Russo Brothers’ AGBO. Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden starrer ‘Citadel’ is the debut of a landmark global franchise.
