Allu Arjun’s Pushpa is the ultimate rage now. Fans have waited days and months for an update of the much-awaited “Pushpa” and finally, fans have got it. Not only were there revelations of the song made recently, but now Pushpa creators have also revealed the release date of the movie and fans can’t keep calm. As if the madness wasn’t enough, it went up a notch higher, when the fans realized that the movie will drop in theatres on the 25th of December, 2021.
The festive days are always the best choice for movies to be released, especially the ones with superstars like Allu Arjun. Movies like this are sure to lure the fans into the halls and it definitely guarantees great business for the cinema halls and theatres. When it comes to Allu Arjun’s movie “Pushpa”, it’s already loaded. The movie stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, and one has to mention their massive fan following. With Allu Arjun’s fan following, the epic story, director Sukumar’s vision, and Devi Sri Prasad’s killer music, “Pushpa” is a given hit.
But, here’s a twist. Allu Arjun’s Pushpa Part 1 will be clashing at the box office with Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan’s movie “Laal Singh Chaddha”. This is one movie that fans have been impatient and dying to watch in theatres. This is pretty obvious since Aamir Khan’s not the kind of person that will release multiple movies in a year. Also, not to mention the cast, Laal Singh Chaddha, stars Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead along with Aamir Khan and Naga Chaitanya is another actor who is known to play a pivotal role in the movie, and along with Mona Singh. Also, Laal Singh Chaddha is an adaptation of Tom Hanks’ “Forrest Gump”, which has been loved for years by everyone around the world.
Pushpa is releasing in 5 languages, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. Surely, the movie will dominate the South Indian cinema market, but in the Hindi speaking belt, it looks like Laal Singh Chaddha might dominate. But, again Pushpa will be released in Hindi too and there are a huge amount of Allu Arjun fans all over, so one can’t say if Laal Singh Chaddha will be the only one to dominate the market in Hindi speaking belts. There’s a high chance that “Pushpa” will overtake.
But again, all of these depend on how the cinema halls open up. Most of the states are opening up their cinema halls and movie theatres, at least at this moment. Some major states still have the 50% occupancy in theatres thing going on and in some, it still hasn’t opened up. With all these, there are high predictions that a third wave might come in somewhere around October, and if that happens everything again gets shut down for another few months.
So, even if the movies have solid stories, cast, music, amazing vision, at this rate everything depends on how well the Covid is handled. But one thing has to be mentioned, that this clash is one epic clash and it will be exciting to see the results when it releases in theatres.
Till then we can only wait and see how everything goes around. For more updates on both the movies, keep an eye out for Binged.com.
