Netflix has revealed the highly awaited trailer of their upcoming movie Qala. Last week, Monica O My Darling was released on the platform and it is making quite a noise on the platform.
But Netflix is in no mood of resting and has released the trailer of their period musical. A few weeks back, they revealed the release date with a hauntingly beautiful poster. Now, the trailer is looking like worthy progress.
Even if we ignore the premise of the film then the frames are too beautiful and so are the glimpse of the songs that are getting featured in the movie.
So on the level of aesthetics, the trailer is a really good one. Regardless, the movie is about a young woman who is a really talented singer. At a very young age, she gets too much recognition and even grabs a frame with the Prime Video of India. Mind you that the film appears to have been set in the 50s or 60s.
It is hard to manage between her singing career, love life, and mother. Her mother can’t tolerate her singing in films. Meanwhile, she realizes that there is something wrong with her.
She asks for help only to realize that it is not that easy.
Overall, the trailer is well-cut and it doesn’t reveal too much.
The movie stars Tripti Dimri, Swastika Mukherjee, Babil Khan, Amit Sial, and even Varun Grover.
It will be released on Netflix on the 1st of December.
