Any content within the vicinity of Gautham Menon isn’t turning to be good news for his producers. Queen, the web-series directed by him, based on former TN CM and actress Jayalalithaa has landed in further controversy, thanks to the infighting within the family of the legend.
It is well known that Jayalalithaa’s nephew Deepak Jayakumar had taken objection to the web series recently and that the makers need to take consent from him or his sister Deepa before its release. Now, Jayalalithaa’s niece Kanthi D Suresh has expressed her disappointment over Jayakumar’s statement and that it has hurt the sentiments of her family members too.
Kanthi in an interview with a news agency has told that Jayakumar’s words have saddened the elders within Jayalithaa’s family, who reportedly know a lot about Jayalalithaa’s life and early days in Karnataka. She wanted them to be consulted before the release of the web-series as well. What does this mean to the fate of the series? Will it witness daylight anytime soon?
