Quibi has just released an explainer series on Covid-19 on its platform. The series is called ‘Answered’ and it has been created with the help of the expertise of Vox Media. Vox Media are also the creators of the Netflix ‘Explained’ series, which covered a wide range of topics on Netflix. The Quibi ‘Answered’ series, however, is specifically on the Coronavirus pandemic.
The new show was launched on the streaming platform under the Quibi Daily Essentials category, which hosts a wide selection of news, Infotainment and lifestyle segments.
Cleo Abram, who also hosted Netflix’s Explained, and YouTube’s Glad You Asked, also from Vox, is hosting Answered. Answered will dig deep into the menace of COVID-19, explaining to the viewers the most important details of the pandemic, answering questions about not only what’s going on but also the why behind it and what is crucial. Each episode will be under ten minutes long, mostly five to seven minutes, as our all episodes of all shows that stream on Quibi. The series will also feature interviews with specialists and provide explanations of the crisis, purely on the basis of hard facts.
Shared Emily Anderson, Executive Director, Vox TV, and Longform, “We hope this show will answer people’s most crucial questions, providing clarity and depth on a single topic at a time. Quibi is telling a number of powerful big stories, and we’re excited to help the platform tell the biggest story of the moment.”
New episodes of ‘Answered’ will be released every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for two weeks. After that, the show will switch to a daily format, streaming from Monday through Friday, that is from 4th May onwards.
