Quotation Gang- a Tamil thriller will be released this Friday, 30th August. Vivek Kumar Kannan has directed the movie and it boasts a wonderful cast that includes Jackie Shroff, Priyamani, Sara Arjun etc. Still, the actor that majorly draws our attention in this movie is Sunny Leone. The movie is roughly a story revolving around the life of contract killers, and it displays the females in the movie as assassins contrary to the stereotype.
The movie portrays Priyamani as a contract killer who has been hired by the gang headed by Jackie and Sunny supposedly is a part of it. The character of Priyamani in the trailer showcases her to be the protagonist of the movie. This makes the movie quite different from the typical mafia movies where male are the dominant people. The trailer portrays a lot of violence and bloodshed and the movie has been cleared by CBFC with an A certificate. The movie creates conflict through the character of Sara Arjun who acts as a teen who is saved by Priyamani. The movie deals majorly with the themes of action, mafia, drug peddling, violence and gore etc.
The movie has a talented cast which makes the movie quite interesting. Especially Priyamani looks fantastic as always in her role and Jackie appeals to the people through his portrayal of the gang leader. The supporting actors who were part of the trailer too seem to be really good in their roles. The most shocking fact about the movie though, is the role of Sunny in it. She is playing a role that goes completely opposite to what she has done previously. Her image as an adult film actor has sustained throughout her filmography. Hence, this movie will be a stereotype breaker for Sunny.
Overall, through the trailer, the movie seems like an interesting watch. The characters of Priyamani and Jackie are worth watching as discussed above. But the main reason to watch the movie will be the surprising role of Sunny Leone in it.
