Dhanush K. Raja’s upcoming venture ‘Raayan’ will be released this july. The release date has not been revealed yet. It has been announced that the first single of the movie will be coming out on the 9th of May.
‘Raayan’ stars Dhanush in the lead role and is also written and directed by the actor. This will be the second directorial after ‘Pa Paandi’ that came out in 2017.
‘Raayan’ will have its music composed by the maestro A. R. Rahman himself, which is one of the main attractions of the movie. The Oscar winning composer and Dhanush have previously collaborated in three movies: Raanjhanaa, Maryan and Atrangi Re. Raayan will be produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures.
Apart from Dhanush, there will also be actors like Dushara Vijayan, Kalidas Jayaram, Sundeep Kishan, S.J. Suryah and Nithya Menen. The cinematography is being handled by Om Prakash.
Raayan will be an out and out actioner and probably S.J Suryah will be playing the antagonist. The plot details have not been revealed yet and maybe we will get some more idea about the movie after the trailer and songs are released.
Apart from Raayan, Dhanush has another movie slotted for this year. ‘Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam’ will be a romantic comedy and it will be the third directorial from Dhanush.
