The trailer for Dhanush K. Raja’s upcoming venture ‘Raayan’ has now been released. It is written and directed by Dhanush and stars him in the leading role. S. J. Suryah is playing the antagonist in the movie. This will be the second directorial venture of Dhanush after ‘Pa Paandi’ that came out in 2017.
The trailer looks good and it gives a vibe similar to ‘Karnan’ and ‘Asuran’. The plot details are not very clear, so it is not yet known whether Dhanush will play a gangster or a leader of the oppressed, as he has played multiple times. The trailer features another actor boasting of Dhanush’s prowess comparing him to a hyena and explains how the hyena is more intelligent than the lion and can beat it in battle. Dhanush is once more donning a rough and tough look and is ready to confront S. J. Suryah with all strength.
‘Raayan’ has its music composed by the maestro A. R. Rahman himself, which is one of the main attractions of the movie. The movie is being produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures.
Apart from Dhanush, there will also be actors like Dushara Vijayan, Kalidas Jayaram, Sundeep Kishan, and Nithya Menen in the movie. The cinematography is handled by Om Prakash. The visuals and colour grading look really impressive.
