‘Radhe’ Makers Take Us Behind the Scenes for the Making of ‘Seeti Maar’

Following the release of superstar Salman Khan’s upcoming film Radhe’s riveting trailer and the subsequent unveiling of Seeti Maar song video, the makers have now released a short video on the making of the song.

The video briefly takes us behind the scenes and the efforts that went into the making the song, which is being widely appreciated by Salman’s diehard fans. The song, which has been sung by Kamaal Khan (of Oh Oh Jaane Jaana fame) and Iulia Vantur, has been choreographed by Jani.

However, dance maestro turned Prabhu Deva, who is also the film’s director, could be seen taking keen interest as he enacted a few dance steps. Salman Khan said in the making video that Seeti Maar is a very well picturized song with a lot of dancing.

While the film’s lead actress Disha Patani described the song as a mix of South Indian style choreography and hip-hop and said that it was so hard and so intimidating dancing in front of Prabhu Deva, who is regarded as a legendary performer and one of the best dancers in Indian cinema.

She further said that its always so much fun working with Salman Sir. He performs like nobody is watching him and that’s a part of Salman’s swag. That it’s a thing that nobody can do.

Patani also confessed that Salman Khan has some difficult steps, but Prabhu Deva explained that Salman was able to perform them. Patani also praised Salman Khan’s improvisation skills and how effortless he is, while performing. Salman further informed that Devi Sri Prasad (of Dhinka Chika fame) is the music composer for the song.

Regarding the song, Devi Sri Prasad had earlier stated that “It is always great fun to create music for Salman. He has always been someone who has appreciated my work and when Prabhu Deva and Salman, personally asked me to recompose Seeti Maar for Radhe, I was more than happy to oblige. I have recreated the entire song to suit Salman’s image whilst retaining its soul. He called me and shared his feedback on how the song sounds terrific. We hope that the audiences enjoy the number as much as we enjoyed making it. It is a fun song that will keep you grooving.”

The eagerly anticipated big-ticket film ‘Radhe’ is scheduled for a simultaneous release on Theatres, ZeePlex and other DTH platforms as well, on May 13, 2021.
