Young Rebel Star Prabhas who garnered nationwide fame with Baahubali is a darling for the OTT platforms. His last film, Saaho worked only in Hindi but the movie worked immensely in favor of Amazon Prime Video which bagged the film rights. However, reports are that Prabhas‘s next film, Radhe Shyam is not getting offers on par with Saaho.
However, the makers are not in a hurry and are hoping that things would change for good after the release of the film’s First Look Teaser which is slated on February 14th as a Valentines’ Day Special. Radhe Shyam is a period love story in the backdrop of Europe of the 1960s. The movie’s release has been delayed due to various reasons. The fact that the movie is directed by a relatively new director is also the reason for the less hype. But as said earlier, an effective teaser can change it for Prabhas. The fact that a period film is likely to be more friendly to the OTT audience may also help.
Radhe Shyam has Pooja Hegde as the female lead. It is directed by Telugu director, Radhakrishna. As of now, the makers did not announce their release plan. It will be a simultaneous release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam languages. The release date may be out with the teaser.
