Radhe vs Satyamev Jayate 2 Eid Clash: Who Has The Upper Hand?

By Binged Bureau - Feb 25, 2021 @ 02:02 pm
Radhe vs Satyamev Jayate 2 Eid Clash: Who Has The Upper Hand?

These past few weeks fans got to know about when their favourite Bollywood movie will be releasing this year. With a sudden flow of the release dates, announcements of the movies that have been delayed due to the pandemic have left everyone excited for the upcoming months. With such a huge number of movies releasing, clashes between the films are meant to happen. Major clashes are always seen during the festival weekends and one of such clashes will be seen during the weekend of Eid between Salman Khan’s much anticipated “Radhe” and John Abraham’s “Satyamev Jayate 2

Radhe will be coming to theatres on 13th of May, 2021 and while Satyamev Jayate 2 is scheduled for a 14th May release.

Since both the movies are something that the fans have been waiting for dearly, with major superstars in both the films let’s see who might have an upper hand when it releases

Star Cast:

First off, both these movies have superstars leading them. Radhe has Salman Khan, while Satyamev Jayate 2 has John Abraham. Both these actors have massive fan following, and by massive we mean “MASSIVE”. While Radhe stars Salman Khan along with Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda, Jackie Shroff, Megha Akash in pivotal roles, “Satyamev Jayate 2” only has John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar leading the movie.

Radhe has a starcast that has massive individual fan following and are some of the leading actors in the industry today and on top of that Jacqueline Fernandez will be appearing for item number for the movie. While Satyamev Jayate 2 only has John Abraham that is making heads turn.

+1 for Radhe

Crew:

Radhe is directed by Prabhu Deva who earlier has directed Bollywood films like Rowdy Rathore, Dabangg 3 among others and various other Tamil films too. With Radhe being an action thriller, it looks like the movie is in good hands, with Prabhu Deva taking the lead. The movie is being produced by Sohail Khan, Atul Agnihotri and Salman Khan himself

Satyamev Jayate 2 on the other hand, is directed by Milap Zaveri. He has been around the Hindi film industry for a very long time, and has been the writer for some major films. He earlier directed the prequel of Satyamev Jayate 2. The producers of the movie are Bhushan Kumar, Nikhil Advani among others and Milap Zaveri comes back as the writer for the movie too.

These movies inarguably have some of the best in the field, it is only when one witnesses the movie on the screens, and one can decide which one has outdone itself.

Equal points for both these movies

Plot:

Plot is something that has become very crucial to the Indian audience in today’s time and age. That being said, both Radhe and Satyamev Jayate 2’s plot will be something that will attract even more audiences to the theatres.

Radhe is the remake of the 2015 South Korean hit movie “Veteran” which has been a fan favourite for many who have been aware and watched the movie. As this is being recreated by a star like Salman Khan, Indian fans won’t be disappointed. The story for Radhe will see Salman Khan as an undercover cop that is trying to bust a major drug cartel run by Randeep Hooda’s character. This will definitely make the movie packed with action and thrill

Satyamev Jayate 2 takes the route of uncovering corrupt government officials once again. The story is focused on how someone in power misuses the power that is given to them. This movie will show the fight against injustice.

Both these movies have stories that resonate with the Indian crowd a lot, which gives both these movies one extra point. These are the stories that have over the years become ultimate fan favourites and that being said, both have the definite potential of being great crowd pullers.

Again, equal points to both of them for the stories are something that the audience is used to.

Buzz:

The buzz around both these has been great ever since its inception. Both of these have been making news in every step of its production. From casting, to the filming and everything in between has been on the news for the fans. But Radhe has been a notch above as this has been a movie that has been close to the fans of Salman Khan and also Salman himself and has become one of the much anticipated movies of the year.

+1 for Radhe here.

At this point, Radhe seems to have a major advantage over Satyamev Jayate 2 as it stars major actors in the film. Both the lead actors have big fan following but “Radhe” seems to be a step ahead with the rest of the cast having major fan following of its own. Looking at this, Radhe seems to have an upper hand in the upcoming clash on Eid.

But the major showdown can only be judged when both these movies will come to the theatres. The ultimate judge of this clash will be none other than the fans and the movie goers.
