As per the recent update Raghava Lawrence’s much awaited film ‘Kanchana 4’ will start filming in September this year and is scheduled to release in 2025.
‘Kanchana 4’ is the fifth instalment in Lawrence’s horror comedy franchise following ‘Muni’ (2007), ‘Muni 2: Kanchana’ (2011), ‘Muni 3: Kanchana 2: Ganga’ (2015), and ‘Muni 4: Kanchana 3’ (2019).
The film series is created and directed by Raghava Lawrence who also stars in all the parts alongside Kovai Sarala. All four films until now have revolved around the same plot of a coward who gets possessed by a ghost to take revenge on the people who killed them, and the rest of the film shows how he takes revenge.
Earlier last month, Raghava Lawrence took to social media and revealed that two movies under Raghavendra Productions will be announced shortly. Fans were quick to guess as ‘Kanchana 4’ to be one of them. Though the next day Lawrence said that due to some technical glitches the announcement will be made on a later date. But since then there has been no such announcement from his side.
