Hoichoi has dropped the official teaser of ‘Robindronath Ekhane Kawkhono Aashenni’, its upcoming original series. This is the first series for Hoichoi with National award winning director Srijit Mukherji (‘Begum Jaan’, ‘Jaatishwar’, ‘Ray’) on board. Based on the best-selling novel by Mohammed Nazim Uddin, the series will premiere only on Hoichoi on 13th August, 2021.
The teaser for ‘Robindronath Ekhane Kawkhono Aashenni’ begins with some mysterious visuals of one half of a plane with ‘Uruguay’ written on it, crash landed on a snow covered mountain where the surviving passengers are stranded.
The teaser then takes us forward to Nirupam Chanda (Rahul Bose) who is writing a article on Mushkan Zuberi, the owner of a popular restaurant named ‘Robindronath Ekhane Kawkhono Khete Aashenni’ situated in Sundarpur. In order to know more about the lady, as to where does she come from and why, he starts to ask and dig around.
He is helped in this pursuit by Ator Ali (Anirban Bhattacharya) who tells him about the mystery associated with Mushkan Zuberi and believes that she has cast some sort of spell. Ali even gets questioned by police as to why Nirupam is snooping around for her.
It gets more and more intriguing as Nirupam comes in contact with Khawraj Khashnobish (Anjan Dutt) who tells him about the disappearance of five people and that he will be shocked to know what Zuberi did with them. Ultimately we get to see Mushkan Zuberi played by Bangladesh’s famous star Azmeri Haque Badhon.
She is bossy, sensational and unhesitant. In her meeting with Nirupam she directly questions him about going around accusing women of kidnapping people without proof. The rest of the teaser shows disturbing, creepy glimpses of the mysterious thriller series.
The teaser looks intriguing and thrilling to the core with an exceptional cast taking it to the next level. ‘Robindronath Ekhane Kawkhono Aashenni’ is going to be one chilling and mysterious experience.
Hoichoi’s ‘Robindronath Ekhane Kawkhono Aashenni’ stars Rahul Bose, Azmeri Haque Badhon, Anirban Bhattacharya, Anirban Chakrabarti, Anjan Dutt and Alex O’Nell in prominent roles.
‘Robindronath Ekhane Kawkhono Aashenni’ is directed by Srijit Mukherji who has also written the screenplay and dialogues for the thriller series. SVF has produced the series and will release on Hoichoi on 13th August, 2021.
