raise-a-toast-to-this-weekend-with-bombers-milan-talkies-tottaa-pataaka-item-maal-the--officeSome movies, series, a dose of reality and fiction and the streaming platforms seem to have everything to fulfill your weekend relaxation goals. Here’s where we try to set your playlist right and make your viewing time worthier. Just sit back and trust Binged.

Bombers-Zee5

A web series about how a football club called Bombers Fc in Kolkata is fighting to keep its identity alive after 10 of its members die in an accident, it follows a Chak De-like treatment in bringing different players together, getting a coach to unite them and challenging the establishment. The team needs to fight it out at a private league to ensure that their home ground isn’t snatched away by the State’s Urban Development Minister. Nothing out of the box here, yet decent enough to merit a watch for football fanatics.

Milan Talkies- Amazon Prime

An aspiring filmmaker and his love interest land in trouble as they face immense opposition from the girl`s family members about their relationship. Directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, the film marks the Bollywood debut of Jersey actress Shraddha Srinath, who co-stars this project alongside Ali Fazal. The film is an action comedy with plenty of meta references. Though it gets abstract beyond a point, Milan Talkies has an intriguing plot to keep you engaged.

Tottaa Pataaka Item Maal- Netflix

Four women in and around Delhi, in their bid to teach molesters and rapists a lesson in their own language, come together to teach a man about what it means to be raped on a daily basis. Directed by filmmaker Aditya Kriplani, the film features Ahmareen Anjum, Chitrangada Chakraborty, Sonal Joshi in pivotal roles. The film is both hard-hitting and raw and mirrors the current ills that the society facing on a daily basis.

The Office- Hotstar

An official Hindi adaptation of the English television series, The Office’s premise revolves around a branch of Wilkins Chawla where its boss Jagdeep Chadda (played by Mukul), makes unsuccessful attempts to keep his employees’ morale at an all-time high. One of the more popular sitcom remakes, the series may not work for those who’ve watched the English version and prove to be an okayish watch for an otherwise unsuspecting viewer.
