The teaser for popular Telugu actor Sree Vishnu‘s upcoming comedy film ‘Raja Raja Chora‘ was launched on social media last evening. Almost immediately, the teaser for Raja Raja Chora was also uploaded on the ZEE5 app, along with the caption, ‘Coming Soon’. A little digging around tells us that the film plans to skip theatrical release completely, and release directly on ZEE5. There’s no official word from either the filmmakers, or from the ZEE5 platform regarding the direct digital release of Raja Raja Chora. But sources in the know have confirmed that the film will release directly on ZEE5.
The teaser for Raja Raja Chora that was launched yesterday on social media gives ample hints that the film is a laugh riot. Lead actor Shree Vishnu plays Rajavarapu Bhaskar Raju, a software engineer by day and a petty thief by night. When one of his thieving shenanigans goes horribly wrong, Bhaskar finds himself in a problem of his own making. The female leads, Megha Akash and Sunaina, add spice to the humorous narrative.
The dialogues of the film, judging by what we saw in the teaser, are hilarious. Shree Vishnu nails the comic act to perfection, and the funny dialogues sound even funnier with him mouthing them. Shree Vishnu had impressed everyone with his intense act in his previous film, Gaali Sampath. Raja Raja Chora is the complete opposite of Gaali Sampath. It is a comedy caper, and promises a fun watch – much-needed in today’s stressful pandemic times.
Raja Raja Chora has been directed by first-time director, Hasith Goli, who has previously worked as an assistant director on Brochevarevarura. The film is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Abhishek Agarwal, under their respective banners, People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts. Ravi Babu, Tanikella Bharani, Kadambari Kiran, Srikanth Iyengar, Ajay Ghosh and Inturi Vasu make up the rest of the cast of Raja Raja Chora.
