Aishwarya Rajinikanth is all set for her next directorial venture ‘Lal Salaam’. The announcement was made today with a poster launch, revealing the lead cast and crew of the film.
‘Lal Salaam’ title poster released today in Tamil and English shows a scene post a bloody riot. With a burning cricket helmet in the center, the whole poster is hazy with smoke and the entire scene is that of destruction after an episode of violence. One can also see a cricket bat, stumps, gloves and ball lying around in the title poster.
Aishwarya Rajinikanth will adapt the screenplay and direct ‘Lal Salaam’ that will star Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth in the lead. And what makes it more exciting is Superstar Rajinikanth making a special appearance in the film.
But this also raises a very important question. Are the makers planning to create hype for the film on Rajinikanth’s name, where he will appear in cameo role only? Why not highlight the film’s theme, lead cast and other more relevant things?
Set to be an A. R. Rahman musical, ‘Lal Salaam’, will have cinematography by Vishnu Rangsamy and editing by B. Pravin Baaskar. Presented by Subaskaran, ‘Lal Salaam’ is produced by Lyca Productions and will release in cinemas in 2023.
