Superstar Rajinikanth’s first look from his upcoming action-thriller film ‘Jailer’ is here and the iconic star does not fail to impress. Helmed by Nelson, ‘Jailer’ is slated for a theatrical release soon.
Written and directed by ‘Beast’ fame Nelson, ‘Jailer’ follows the story of a Jailer of a prison who takes upon himself to stop a gang trying to rescue their leader from the prison.
The first look poster of Rajinikanth’s 169th film ‘Jailer’ also announced beginning of film’s shooting today. Coming to super star’s look from the film, it’s all things intense and classy. Wearing khakhi pants and a grey shirt, Rajinikanth is seen in a spectacled look with salt and pepper styled hair and beard.
With his hands folded behind and a powerful aggressive look on face, Rajinikanth’s first look from ‘Jailer’ is quite intriguing. Presented by Kalanithi Maran, ‘Jailer’ is written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, whose recent works include Sivakarthikeyan’s ‘Doctor’ and Vijay’s ‘Beast’. The film will be an Anirudh musical.
While the details of the cast and crew are yet to be unveiled, ‘Jailer’ is said to star Ramya Krishnan and Shivrajkumar. There are also reports suggesting Rajinikanth’s ‘Enthiran’ and ‘2.0’ co-star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to be onboard for film though there’s no official word on it yet.
