Following the massive success of their recent film ‘Jailer’, Sun Pictures is all set to reunite with superstar Rajinikanth for his next #Thalaivar171 .
The yet to be titled film will be written and directed by ‘Master’ fame Lokesh Kanagaraj. He is currently working on ‘Leo’, his second collaboration with Vijay and the third in his Lokesh Cinematic Universe franchise after ‘Kaithi’ and ‘Vikram’. #Thalaivar171 will be Lokesh’s first film with Rajinikanth.
#Thalaivar171 is produced by Kalanithi Maran’s Sun Pictures with music by Anirudh Ravichander who has earlier scored music for Rajinikanth starrer films like ‘Jailer’, ‘Darbar’, and ‘Petta’. Anirudh is also on board for #Thalaivar170, helmed by ‘Jai Bhim’ fame TJ Gnanavel.
National Award winning action choreographer duo Anbumani and Arivumani also known as Anbariv will choreograph the stunt sequences for #Thalaivar171. Anbariv are known for their works in films like ‘Madras’, ‘Kabali’, and ‘K.G.F. Chapter 1’.
