Rajkummar Rao‘s phenomenal acting talent doesn’t need any introduction. The Bollywood star has ascertained himself as one of the most experimental and skilled actors of his generation. The Newton fame has worked with various notable helmers in the film industry. His last project, Badhaai Do, failed to lure a large audience to the theatres. Still, he has many future projects in his bag. One of them is Bheed. Some of the latest reports have disclosed that the makers have completed shooting the upcoming social drama with Anubhav Sinha at the helm. Also, Rao will collaborate with Sinha again for a future anthology project.
According to one of the reports from Mid Day, the pair of actor-director will reunite for a forthcoming anthology project based on the events of the ongoing pandemic. “When Anubhav shared the premise of his short film with Raj, it resonated with him. The director felt that Raj is someone who connects with the movie on a personal level. Casting is key for Anubhav, and he almost always knows from the get-go who he is envisioning in the role. He felt Raj was the perfect choice for the part,” one of the sources revealed.
Sinha will serve as one of the producers of the upcoming anthology endeavour. This project will treasure short films directed by Hansal Mehta, Sudhir Mishra, Ketan Mehta, and many more prominent helmers. Apart from the above-mentioned report, rumours regarding Taapsee Pannu’s casting by Mishra for this project are also surfacing on the internet these days.
In addition to working in Anubhav Sinha’s upcoming anthology film, Rajkummar Rao is also busy with the production works of ‘Monica, O My Darling’ and ‘Hit’. Stay tuned for more updates.
