Disney Plus Hotstar has just dropped the first official teaser for its latest Bollywood acquisition, ‘Hum Do Hamare Do‘. The Maddock Films’ production skipped a theatrical release and landed on streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar. The family comedy drama will arrive on the streamer as a Diwali release, as the teaser proclaims, “Yeh Diwali, Family Wali”.
Though the just-released teaser of the film is almost a minute long, we get only a short glimpse of the actual film ‘Hum Do Hamare Do’. Half of the teaser touts Maddock Films’ previous hits, Stree, Luka Chhupi, Bala and Mimi. Yet, whatever few glimpses the teaser shows of Hum Do Hamare Do give viewers enough idea of the plot. Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon play a young couple who decide to adopt the a set of parents, whose parents is not quite clear in the teaser. Immediately after, power actors Paresh Rawal and Ratna Pathak Shah stride onto the screen in style, and by their mere presence, elevate the film teaser to several notches higher.
Kriti Sanon looks as delightful as ever in the teaser of ‘Hum Do Hamare Do’. Rajkummar Rao gives ample of his his trademark poker-faced, clueless looks, and we already know this movie will be a fun laughter riot. Aparshakti Khurana also has a significant part to play in the film, though we get to see nothing of him in the teaser.
Hum Do Hamare Do is directed by Abhishek Jain, and produced by Maddock Films. It premieres on Disney Plus Hotstar this Diwali.
