Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan is now streaming on Zee5. The Aanand L Rai film was based on the issue of down where a brother pledges to get his sisters married. We all know that dowry is often the deciding factor of Indian weddings and even after so many efforts, it doesn’t seem to stop.
Raksha Bandhan tried well to highlight the same issue but ultimately failed to leave an impact due to poor screenplay and not so great performance by the leading cast.
But even after box office failure and so many flaws, Zee5 indeed promoted the film really well. They used Akshay Kumar extensively to invite fans to watch a family film on the occasion of Dussehra.
Now, those efforts seem to bring some light. According to Zee5, Raksha Bandhan has earned over 40 Million minutes of streaming till now which is insane.
Normally, films on Zee5 would earn only about 25 Million minutes of streaming, and seeing the case of Raksha Bandhan, it is really impressive. But what matters the most is the way Zee5 performed this time.
They didn’t mess up with the picture quality or ignored marketing. And the result of such good work is finally visible in terms of views.
