Rakul Preet Singh Shares Simple & Subtle First Look For Doctor G!

Rakul Preet Singh currently is the IT girl of Bollywood. Not only has she signed many films, but has also been thoroughly enjoying the success of her previous films too. Rakul Preet Singh was last seen in Arjun Kapoor starrer “Sardar Ka Grandson”, which was released on Netflix and has received positive reviews. Just when she was basking in the success of the film, the news of her joining Ayushmann Khurrana in a medical drama, titled “Doctor G”. Ever since the announcement fans have been waiting to see their favorite star in a whole new avatar and look like the prayers have been finally answered.

Today, Rakul Preet Singh revealed the first look of her much-anticipated role from Doctor G. She will be known as Dr. Fatima in the movie and will be paired opposite Ayushmann Khurrana, who also will be a doctor. As far as her looks in the movie go, we are guessing the makers have decided to keep the subtlety intact. She isn’t seen in any fancy clothing or make-up. It’s just a simple salwar kameez with her white shining doctor’s coat and the quintessential stethoscope that completes Rakul Preet Singh’s look as Dr. Fatima. Judging from her looks, she easily gives off the vibes of someone who won’t talk rubbish and is all business, but at the same time sweet to everyone.

Besides Ayushmann Khurrana and Rakul Preet Singh, Shefali Shah is also essaying an important role in Doctor G. Shefali Shah is supposedly essaying the role of a senior doctor who will be seen guiding Ayushmann and Rakul Preet’s roles in the movie. The movie is supposed to be a social medical drama-slash-campus comedy drama. Such movies aren’t high in India and it is a good chance for the creators to take the ball ahead and make this a solid genre in the industry.

It wasn’t easy for any of the actors to essay the roles, as the makers wanted to make the actors look seamless as their roles as doctors. Various experts from various fields were invited to guide them and help them out in learning the small nuances of being a doctor. It took some time for everyone, including Rakul Preet to get into the role and get used to the medical lingo, which will be of high use in the movie.

As for the movie, it is directed by Anubhuti Kashyap and produced by Junglee Pictures. The dialogues of the movie are written by Sumit Saxena, whereas the screenplay was written by Sumit Saxena, Saurabh Bharat, Vishal Wagh, and Anubhuti Kashyap. The film recently wrapped up a massive shoot in Prayagraj and is planning to complete the rest of the shoot by the end of this month. Junglee Pictures is one such production house that goes for movies that make an impact and hence it will be interesting to see how Doctor G, as a social drama impacts the Indian audience.
