Energetic Hero Ram’s latest film, Red released in January for the festive season and performed decently at the box office thanks to the festival advantage. The movie is now gearing up for its digital space. It is going to premiere on two OTT Platforms – Sun Nxt and Netflix from the 23rd of this month.
Sun Network bagged the satellite and digital rights of the film as a bundle. They are sharing the digital rights with Netflix as a part of their internal deal. It will be a simultaneous release on both the OTT platforms. Red is a thriller and is an official remake of Tamil Blockbuster, Thadam. Ram plays a dual role in the film. It is the first time Ram is playing a dual role in his career.
Directed by Director Kishore Tirumala, the movie barely had any major changes from its original. Nivetha Pethuraj, Malvika Sharma and Amritha Aiyer are the heroines in the film while Hebah Patel shook her booty for an item song. Red has music composed by Mani Sharma. Red is the story of a murder investigation involving a civil engineer and his lookalike as prime suspects. They happen to be brothers but are not on talking terms.
