The teaser for the keenly awaited Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal’ is finally here. Producers T-Series chose the occasion of Ranbir Kapoor’s birthday today to release the almost 3-minute long ‘Animal’ teaser on social media. And it was totally worth the wait.
The ‘Animal’ teaser shows off Ranbir Kapoor in a totally different avatar than what film enthusiasts are used to seeing him. In Animal, he’s bold, badass and bloody like never before. The teaser opens with leads Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna discussing their marriage and baby plans. But then it veers into darker territory.
Daddy issues abound, as we see a young, lanky naive lad, played by Ranbir Kapoor, metamorphose into a lean mean killing machine. Anil Kapoor plays his mean, bullying father. Apart from sequences with graphic violence, the most compelling thing about the Animal teaser is the two-second glimpse of Bobby Deol at the end. He seems to be the primary antagonist in the film, and his look and mannerisms promise loads for the film.
Judging by the Animal teaser, the story of the film seems to be a predictable revenge drama. The only unique thing about the film is definitely Ranbir Kapoor’s action avatar. The background score of the teaser, by Harshwardhan Rameshwar, is electric.
Animal is written and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and produced by T-Series. It stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Tripti Dimri in pivotal roles.
Animal premieres in theatres on 1st December, 2023. It is a pan-India film and is to hit theatres in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. Have a look at the Animal teaser here –
