Trailer for Zee5’s upcoming original series ‘Rangbaaz: Darr Ki Rajneeti’ is here and it’s full of those gangster vibes and action. Scheduled to premiere on Zee5 on 29th July, 2022, ‘Rangbaaz: Darr Ki Rajneeti’ is the third instalment of the ‘Rangbaaz’ franchise that had two successful seasons till now following two different gangsters.
‘Rangbaaz’ trailer begins with the infamous description of Bihar’s Haroon Shah Ali Baig with 34 cases over 20 years and yet not a single chargesheet filed directly involving him. But his strength lies amongst the minority masses and that’s what the politics of Bihar demands.
Grabbing on the opportunity and his public persona that is respect to some and fear to many, Baig intends to contest elections and declares the same to the party head. Soon he is declared a fugitive but he still continues to rise in power.
Beyond the reach of police and administration, Baig becomes the nightmare for many and that’s when they all unite against him to break him down completely. But Haroon Shah Ali Baig is back and he wants everyone to remember who he was.
Directed by Sachin Pathak and written by Siddharth Mishra, ‘Rangbaaz: Darr Ki Rajneeti’ is helmed by Navdeep Singh (‘NH10’, ‘Manorama Six Feet Under’). The series stars Vineet Kumar Singh, Aakanksha Singh (‘Parampara S2’, ’Runway 34’), Rajesh Tailang (‘Mirzapur’, ‘Delhi Crime’), Geetanjali Kulkarni (‘Gullak’, ‘Aarya 2’), Prashant Narayanan, Vijay Maurya, Sudhanva Deshpande, Soham Majumdar and Ashok Pathak among others.
The first season of the ‘Rangbaaz’ franchise was about Shri Prakash Shukla from Gorakhpur, while the second one was inspired from the life of Rajasthan’s Anandpal Singh. This time it’s the spine-chilling life story and times of ‘Saheb’ Haroon Ali Shah Baig, a gangster turned politician in Bihar.
