Much awaited first look of Rashmika Mandanna from Allu Arjun’s ’Pushpa – The Rise’ is here and the official description of her look as raw and intense is truly justified. Rashmika will be seen as Srivalli in the film, who is said to be the soulmate of the lead Pushparaj.
In her first look, Rashmika is seen sitting on the floor wearing a blouse and an underskirt and is in the process of getting ready with her saree and other essentials including a gajra lying on the ground. Although she is sitting in front of a mirror she isn’t looking at it and is busy putting her earring while indulged in some deep saddening thought.
The background is that of a kitchen with dim light coming in through the windows near the ceiling and pots on fire. On a deeper observation one can see three plates served with food in the mirror. The whole poster overall has a rural rustic aura to it.

Until now almost every update from the pan India film ‘Pushpa – The Rise’ has received great response from fans but the same cannot be said in entirety for Rashmika’s first look as Srivalli that got mixed response form netizens. She might melt fiercest Puhsparaj’s heart in the film but has somewhat not been able to do so for a section of the audience.
While many have appreciated her raw never before seen look, many others are simply disappointed with the creatives of the film to have gone ahead with it. Some consider it to be a meme material and some even think it isn’t decent. Even her style of sitting that’s a common one, especially in villages, has been pointed out negatively by a few.

Going with the ‘Pushpa’s’ action-thriller theme and setting in a jungle amidst smugglers, Rashmika’s appearance as a village girl with a lot of emotions in that plain poker look on her face is nothing less than a piece of art. The probable reason for it not being liked by a few among the audience can be due to difference in perspective and understanding the very nature of the film.
‘Pushpa – The Rise’ is first of the two parts of the action-thriller film starring Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. Its story is based on red sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam Hills of the Rayalseema region of Andhra Pradesh.
Written and directed by Sukumar, the much anticipated film ‘Pushpa’ is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers along with Muttamsetty Media. ‘Pushpa – The Rise’ is scheduled to release in theatres this Christmas.
