Raunchier Than Ever, 365 Days Sequel Gets Netflix Release Date!

Netflix is gearing up to release the much-anticipated sequel to its surprise 2020 Polish hit, ‘365 Days‘. Titled ‘365 Days: This Day’, the film hits Netflix worldwide on April 27. The streaming giant has also released the official trailer and exclusive images for the film. Going by the first look, 365 Days: This Day seems to be even steamier than the original film. Come April 27, the 365 Days sequel looks set to smash the erotica record on Netflix.

A lot is slated to happen in 365 Days: This Day. Sexy mafia boss Massimo (Michele Morrone) gets married to his kidnapee-turned-lover Laura (Anna-Maria Sieklucka). Laura gets attracted to smoking-hot new character, Nacho (Simone Susinna). As per the synopsis of the upcoming film, Nacho will do anything to seduce Laura and win her heart. There are also dark, depressing secrets waiting to be revealed in the 365 Days sequel.

More significantly, if the trailer of 365 Days: This Day is any indication, the film might just give 365 Days a run for its money in the erotica department. Steamy sex scenes seem to be in abundance in the upcoming Netflix original film. Laura shares raunchy scenes with both the leading men of 365 Days: This Day. Put together, the sexy duo of Michele Morrone and Simone Susinna are bound to raise the hotness quotient of the sequel even higher.

Magdalena Lamparska returns to the sequel, to reprise her role of Laura’s best friend. Barbara Białowąs and Tomasz Mandes also return as directors of the films. 365 Days and its upcoming sequel are adaptations of Poland author Blanka Lipińska’s book trilogy, ‘365 Dni’, the Polish equivalent of Fifty Shades Of Grey.

The Polish language 365 Days had stirred up a hornet’s nest upon release. Netizens slammed its explicit and steamy sex scenes, and its dubious plot device. Netflix users criticised the movie for romanticizing the ‘Stockholm Syndrome’, a state, predominantly psychological, in which the kidnapped develops affection for or falls in love with their kidnapper. A lot of people demanded that 365 Days be pulled down and banned from Netflix.

Despite the flak, 365 Days, with its bordering-on-porn erotica, was a massive hit on Netflix. It spent considerable time in the Netflix Top Ten charts across the world, including in India. Let’s see how well its sequel fares on Netflix.
