Raveena Tandon made her OTT debut in 2021 with Vinay Waikul directorial ‘Aranyak’. She played a cop alongside Parambrata Chatterjee and gained positive feedback from the audiences as well as critics for her wonderful performance. Now she is all set to do her second web-series, which will be the Indian adaptation of the American series ‘Revenge’. Ruchi Narain, who previously directed ‘Guilty’ will be helming this series.
‘Revenge’ ran through 2011 to 2015 for four seasons and tells the story of a woman who sets out on a journey to punish everybody involved in the imprisonment of her father. Raveena will be playing the role of Emily Thorne, previously played by Emily VanCamp in the Mike Kelly created original. The cast included Josh Bowman, Gabriel Mann and others. The full cast of the Indian adaptation is not yet known.
The series will be streamed around mid-next year tentatively. This will be the third adaptation of ‘Revenge’ after two already done in Turkey and Colombia.
Raveena’s second phase as an actor is pumped with a lot of success primarily due to Aranyak and KGF Chapter 2.
She will be next seen in Benoy Gandhi’s romantic comedy ‘Ghudchadi’ with Sanjay Dutt and Manish Gupta’s thriller ‘One Friday Night’.Her character as a badass daughter out for avenging her father will be something to wait for in this series.
