After enjoying his performance in a relatively smaller but important role in Chiranjeevi’s ‘Waltair Veerayya’, fans of popular Telugu cinema actor Ravi Teja are eagerly waiting for another film after ‘Ravanasura’. We are talking about ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’, which has just received a theatrical release date.
It has just been announced that the biographical action movie ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’ will release in cinemas globally on 20th October 2023 coinciding with the Dussehra festival period. It will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. And in doing that, ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’ will have a box-office clash with Ram Pothineni’s upcoming film tentatively titled ‘RAPO 20’, whose release date was announced just a couple of days back.
Written and directed by Vamsee, ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’ is being touted to be Ravi Teja’s first pan-India movie. Besides Ravi Teja in the lead role, the movie also features Nupur Sanon, Gayatri Bhardwaj as the female leads in addition to Anupam Kher, and Jisshu Sengupta, amongst other cast members.
Set amidst the backdrop of the 1970s period, ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’ revolves around the life of the legendary thief of the same name in a village called Stuartpuram in Andhra Pradesh. Ravi Teja will be essaying the titular role in the biopic film.
The massively mounted film ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’ has been produced by Abhishek Agarwal, who has previously backed two superhit movies ‘The Kashmir Files’ and ‘Karthikeya 2’. Before the release of ‘Tiger Nageswara Rao’, Ravi Teja would next be seen in Sudheer Varma’s action thriller movie ‘Ravanasura’, which is set to release on 7th April 2023.
