The trailer of Reacher is finally out. Tom Cruise was famous for playing the character of Jack Reacher. But finally, in this Prime video series he has been moved aside by Alan Ritchson.
The movies starring Tom Cruise were based on Lee Child’s famous novel One Shot and its sequel Never Go Back.
Two films have been released on those novels, both had Tom Cruise in the leading role. But now, Prime Video has released the trailer of their new series. It is also based on the same story written by Lee Child. But quite obviously, Tom is not there in the film.
Jack Reacher is a highly fantastical military hero who has appeared in 26 books. This new series is based on the first book in this series called Killing Floor. This story was based in a small town but the thrill was big enough for the audience to continue reading the next books.
The trailer opens in a prison where Jack is thrashing his fellow prisoners. Alan has a well-built body and he manages to somehow maintain that typical nonchalant military man body language.
The series will be releasing on 4th February 2022 and is expected to have 8 episodes in total.
Whether people will like this as much as they did the Tom Cruise movie series is still sceptical. But that will be completely clear by the time the show releases.
